Pearl Corridor

Taiwan Founders in Silicon Valley

There are more good Taiwanese founders and engineers here than anyone can name — and almost no structure holding them together. Pearl Corridor is the structure: a directory you can actually search, intros that go somewhere, and a few small gatherings a month where nobody is selling anything. Resources, people and opportunities between Taipei and the Bay, connected point to point.

Why a pearl

The name is the thesis

01

Silicon is sand.

One grain gets into the oyster, takes layer after layer, and comes out a pearl. That is what happens to a Taiwanese team here: you absorb the technology, the capital and the pressure, and you come out worth something.

02

Boba is the shortcut.

Every event keeps one pearl element — a milk tea run, a picnic, somebody's backyard. People talk honestly over boba in a way they never do over a name badge.

03

The corridor is the string.

Loose pearls are inventory. Strung together they are a necklace. We connect a few high-signal nodes first, then extend the line — the string is worth more than any single pearl on it.

What’s in the box

Directory

Every Pearl has a profile: stage, sector, what they need in the Valley, what they can hand back. Filter by any of it.

Intros

See the right person, send a connect request with one line of context. Once they accept, contact details open and so does a thread. No cold opens.

Seed Pearls

Hiring, raising, asks, milestones. Short posts, so the community is still alive between events.

Album

The boba run, the picnic, that table at Founder House. Photos are the most honest record a community keeps.
